What happens when you bring 100 independent creators, workshops, and a community of DIY enthusiasts together for three days? This week, we explore the vibrant, tactile world of the Santa Rosa Zine Fest, April 30th though May 2nd. Host Michelle Marques takes you behind the scenes with two of the festival's founders to discuss the labor of love required to build a three-day celebration of independent publishing. They share how a simple idea blossomed into a beloved event featuring panels, meetups, and a packed Zine Fair. Plus, we take you directly to the 2025 event with immersive field recordings, capturing the energy, the conversations, and the sound of a community celebrating creativity and identity.
